The Society shelters unwanted animals; offers adoptions of dogs, cats and small animals; investigates cruelty complaints, operates a full-service veterinary clinic open to the public; offers an humane education program; maintains an animal ambulance service for unwanted owned animals and holds regular obedience classes.
